Getting the error message "Sending and Receiving reported error (0x800CCC92): Your e-mail server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password in your account properties.I am using Outlook 2002 on the XP Pro operating system.This has been going on for almost a year but I was able to by-pass the issue since it started by using an alternate outgoing SMTP user name and password. (More settings, Outgoing server tab, log on using......) Now this has stopped working. There are four machines at this location and all four are experiencing the same issue. I am using a LinkSys RVS4000 router. The previous Linksys router also had the same issue so I replaced it, thinking it may correct the issue, it did not.Trouble shooting:a. I am able to recreate the account on another machine at a different location and it works.b. I can take an account from my machine, create in at this location and it will not work.c. Deleted the accounts and created a new one, did not workd. Replaced the router at the location with a new Linksys routere. Contacted support for ISP, (Time Warner) they blame the hosting companyd. Contacted support for hosting company (HostCentric) they blame the ISPc. Confirmed username and passwords are correct.e. There are 4 machines at this location all with different email addresses. All started having this issue /error on the same day within hoursf. Can receive emails, can't send.4 people need an answerI do too
